Here is the new scarf pattern Bambusa scarf that I made for my friend. A perfect warm scarf for Fall and winter months.

Bambusa Scarf

This is a warm non-curly scarf perfect for the fall and winter months. It looks good blocked or unblocked, depending on how thick of a fabric you want. It looks like a bamboo tree hence the name. A double rib with a little something to prevent boredom.

Lots of knitting

I've gotten back on the knitting bandwagon. Ever since I came back from my vacation in Janurary, I have not felt like knitting, then all of a sudden in August I wanted to knit.

I made scaruffle, regina juno, hemlock ring afghan, pinwheel blanket, this way up scarf, hat fit for a boyfriend and bambusa scarf(my own pattern). All the pictures are in ravelry under kusum.

But here are the pictures.
I'll add some picture and after I finish bambusa scarf will have the pattern here. So expect lots of knitting.

I also have lots of patterns I want to start, so the knitting bug has bit me again.

Long Time

Wow it's been a long time! Well I went on vacation for all of January and forgot all about blogging and Knitting. Work and life has been so busy, two kids is definitely too much work. Also I go through phases and right now I'm also trying to focus on weight loss and health.

Here is some virtual model pictures for motivation. I weight 182 right now. Hopeing to loose a pound a week. I've done it before and kept it off for two years, but then I got pregnant. Ignore the weights, I wanted more motivating models.

Well the baby turned 18 months today and I think it's time to get back on the bandwagon.

I got down to 145 last time so that is what I am aiming for now. I have always been overweight and getting to 145 will be the first step. After that I am going to shoot for less. But that is the first goal. Well big goal. I am also focusing on smaller goals as in 180, 175, 170, etc. And each of those milestones I will have a reward. I am also trying to exercise 3 times a week.

Previously when I got to 145 I did it with healthy eating, exercise and maintained somewhat for 2 years. I also got a Juicer to be healthier, which I love.

Exercise is usually walking or walk away the pounds videos. I have lots of other videos but that is the starting point. I have an elliptical at home as well. But going to work my way to that.

Knitting is taking a back seat for now.
