
Here is the new scarf pattern Bambusa scarf that I made for my friend. A perfect warm scarf for Fall and winter months.

This is a warm non-curly scarf perfect for the fall and winter months. It looks good blocked or unblocked, depending on how thick of a fabric you want. It looks like a bamboo tree hence the name. A double rib with a little something to prevent boredom.
Cast on 44 stitches.
Always slip the first stitch of every row as if to purl.
Knit for 4 rows, to create a garter stitch border.
Follow chart.
Repeat the stitches in red 3 more times.
Repeat rows 5 to 16, until scarf is desired length.
End the scarf in row 8.
Knit for 3 rows, and bind off while knitting the last row.
Cast on 44 Stitches. Always slip the first stitch of every row as if to Purl (SLP).

2. Same as row 1
3. Same as row 1
4. Same as row 1
5. SLP, K2, (p2, K2) to last 5 stitches, P2, K3
6. All even number rows - SLP, K2, Knit the knits and Purl the purls, K3
7. Same as row 5
8. Same as row 6
9. SLP, K2, P2, (K2, P6) repeat 3 times, K2, P2, K3.
10. SLP, K4, (P2, K6) repeat 3 times, P2, K5.
11. Same as row 5
12. Same as row 6
13. Same as row 5
14. Same as row 6
15. SLP, K2, (P6, K2) repeat 3 times, P6, K3.
16. SLP, K2, (K6, P2) repeat 3 times, K6, K3.
Repeat from row 5 to row 16 until, ending in row 8 until scarf is desired length.
Knit rows 1 to 4 for the border, bind of while knitting row 4.
